INDIAN RIVER COUNTY WATER QUALITY EXTENSION PROGRAM
GOAL: To support water quality programs for a diverse clientele in Indian River County.
OBJECTIVES:
To gather relevant knowledge and increase public awareness of the impacts of human activities on the health and sustainability of aquatic ecosystems, and how these activities affect water quality and quantity.
To facilitate acquisition of funding for implementation of programs which are identified by the community as impacting water quality/quantity in Indian River County.
To promote the responsible stewardship by stakeholders for appropriate management of resources.
Target Customers: Indian River County water users.
Impact: Clients shall be encouraged to change management practices and/or behaviors to:
make effective use of resources
improve water quality
