The 4-H Livestock Program

The 4-H Livestock Program is an education program of the UF/IFAS Extension Service designed to develop positive life skills in youth, and teach real world agricultural practices to the next generation. 4-H members have in their project animal a microcosm of the agriculture industry. Through their projects they learn responsibility, self-determination, record keeping, time management, goal setting and many other life skills.

4-H at the Firefighters' Fair

The 4-H Livestock Show & Sale is held in conjunction with the Indian River County Firefighter's Fair. The show and sale provides the venue for our 4-H'ers in the animal science projects to exhibit their project animals to the public.

We wish all our 4-H'ers the best of luck at the 2011 4-H Livestock Show and Sale.
