Each county Extension office is a branch of the University's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), and offers a wide range of programs. Swine Influenza:
Swine influenza (Swine Flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs
caused by a Type A influenza virus that regularly causes outbreaks
in pigs. The U. S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) realizes the
growing concern of the Type A (H1N1) swine flu that is contagious
between humans. Updated guidance and new information as it becomes
